White Oak LakeWhite Oak Lake is a man-made lake divided into the Upper Lake (1,032 acres) and the Lower Lake (1,645 acres) and has one island, locally called ‘goat island.' There are a total of five boat ramps as well as a fishing pier. The lake is fertilized and the results have been some really good catfish, bass, and crappie fishing. Sitting on the West side of the lower lake is White Oak State Park, where you can rent pontoon boats, bass boats, and pedal boats. The park has a great pavilion, a nice children’s playground, and a visitor’s center with all of the goodies you like to have when you are out having fun on the lake. |
